About
What WomenwithAI is for
Most of what is written about women and AI is about the gap. WomenwithAI is the other ledger: the work women are leading, using, researching, governing, building and making with AI, and the ways in for the next ones. It is positive by design, not by accident.
Every country, one page
There are 229 pages here, one for every country and territory. Women live, work and create everywhere, and a page that says "nothing yet" is an invitation rather than a verdict. The pages fill up from two sources: editors' picks, which are well-documented public facts, and submissions from readers, which a moderator checks before they are published.
What ABC stands for
Arts, Business, Culture: the films, music, books and art; the companies, founders and careers; and the festivals, sport, science, heritage and community life around them. Good news in any of the three belongs here.
Who counts
Anyone who identifies as a woman. We do not ask anyone to prove it, and we do not decide it for them. A country page is for women from that country and women connected to it; a Kenyan-British engineer belongs on both pages.
What goes up
Things that went right. Something made, won, built, launched, saved, taught or shared. Every entry names the people involved, says when it happened, and points to a source or an official page where one exists. The content guidelines are short, and they are the rules the moderators use.
What does not
Nothing that puts anyone down, including other women, and nothing built on comparing women against men to score a point. No rumours, no politics for its own sake, no advertising dressed as a story.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and it will be fixed or taken down. Facts come first.
Open to everyone
Submissions are open to anyone. The showcase and the talent directory are meant to be the first place somebody looks when they want to find women's creative talent from a particular country, and the first place a creator sends people to see their work in good company. Right now the site holds 31 stories and 9 works; that is the start, not the size.
The data is yours too
Everything shown is available as JSON at /api/countries, /api/stories and /api/works, and as an RSS feed. Build on it.
