Day 1Try itAbout 30 minutes
Your AI, set up your way
You end up with: A free ChatGPT or Claude account with instructions that tell it who you are and how you like to work.
Start with the free plan of either one. You do not need both, and you do not need to pay. By the end of today it answers like it knows you.
- Sign up for a free account at chatgpt.com or claude.ai.
- Find the custom instructions (ChatGPT) or profile preferences (Claude) in the settings.
- Write five lines about you: what you do, who you do it for, the tone you like, what to avoid, and how long answers should be.
- Ask it to plan one real thing from your week and see whether the answer sounds like you. Change a line and try again.
-

Good to know
- Do I need to pay for ChatGPT or Claude?
- No. Every day is designed to work on the free plan of ChatGPT or Claude. Paid plans are optional: they give you more room, but you do not need one, and you never need both. Free plans have usage limits that change over time, so if you hit one, take a break and carry on later.
- Do I need to know how to code?
- No. You build by describing what you want in plain words.
- Can I take one level on its own?
- Yes. The 10 days come in two 5-day levels. Level 1, Make AI yours, is the place to start. Level 2, Build with AI, can be taken after it, or on its own if you already use AI every week. Each level has its own Register interest.
- Is there a certificate?
- Yes, one per level. Finish Level 1, Make AI yours, and you get your Level 1 certificate. Finish Level 2, Build with AI, and you get your Level 2 certificate. The founder issues each one separately.
- What about API keys and API billing?
- You do not need them for this challenge. Do not switch on paid API usage unless you understand what it costs.
- When does it run?
- Dates for the next wave are to be announced. Day 1 is open now as Try it, so you can start whenever you like.
